The size of a 'Huxter' Soap Bar!
Huxter bar soaps are 7 ounces and measure 4" wide x 2.6" tall x 1.5" thick. The average size of an American soap bar is 3.75 - 4 ounces. Huxter bar soaps are nearly twice the size but they last more than twice as long... becuause "full" or "standard" 4 ounce sized soap bars are not triple-milled like Huxter bar soaps.
How is 'Triple Milled' Soap Different?
The process of triple-milling a soap is the most efficient way of making high quality soap. Huxter triple milled soaps follow time-tested traditions, the process extracts any excess moisture or air from the bar, leaving you with the purest form of soap available. A truly gentle soap.
Triple milled soap is safer for sensitive skin or those with skin allergies and sensitivites. One key difference is the full removal of lye, which is a necessary component in the initial process of making soap. Soap that is not milled still contain small traces of lye which then bond to the skin, trapping grease and dirt. By using triple milled soap your skin is clean and fresh without any chemical residue that is present in non-milled soap.
In adddition to the removal of any irritants, the excess moisture that has been squeezed out results in a triple-milled bar that has a greater density compared to that of a non-milled bar. With greater density the bar will last much longer and produce a much richer lather. The product is a more economically sound choice, it is more environmentally friendly and your hand & body washing experience is a more luxurious one.
